Mathew Tipper Golf Academy

Golf Academy consists of Tyree indor and heated rooms called swing rooms, which allow students to improve their skills regardless of the weather throughout the year.

In each of the rooms are located the devices like: computer, tv and several mirrors which ensure efficient work with students. In one of the swing rooms you can find putting green. In the  academy during the lessons trainers are using the devices such as:

It’s a radar tool that allows us to optimally match the appropriate driver for the accurate player. It allows reading swing parameters out such as: reverse rotation, angle of departure ball, purity of hitting, road club head, club head speed and swing plane. It allows us to read the distance of our hitting ball by using different clubs.

K-VEST is a vest showing biomechanical movements in 3D, reads and writes swing deviation to front and to the side and band and side band.

SAM BALANCE LAB – it is a platform that acting discernment measured by shifting and pressure of the body during the golf swing. It is a doubtless the only device consisting about 2500 sensors that give the opportunity to exact testing of how shifts our body weight during the swing, which rather doesn’t take longer than 1,8 seconds. The list is presented in a very clear picture of 3D and in 2D.

V1 ANALYSIS (video analysis) – the most advanced technical analysis golf swing software. This program allows us to watch our swing on the screen and understand the mistakes we make. The big advantage of the system is that we are able to send recorded lesson by the email to the student with the comments and correcting exercises.

All devices are designed to improve and facilitate students to understand their golf swing.


Matthew Tipper
Matthew who originates from Porthcawl, South Wales first started golf at the age of 10. Growing up playing golf at the prestigious Pyle and Kenfig Golf Links he quickly gained a passion for the game of golf. Over time Matthew soon realised that although he was capable and was successful in tournament golf his passion lied in coaching. It was when he turned 17 that he decided that coaching was his way and he started to attend the David Leadbetter Academies in the UK to further develop his game as well as his coaching ambition. Once gaining his degree from University of Birmingham, Matthew travelled the world extensively to gain further  experience  of cultures to allow him to gain more experience. Coaching took Matthew to Malaysia, Dubai and Portugal before he accepted a coaching role for David Leadbetter in China. Matthew quickly rose through the ranks of the Leadbetter system gaining a Directors role in South Korea within 4 years. Matthew accepted the exciting new role to open the first Leadbettter academy in central Europe at the prestigious Toya Golf and Country Club. Working with polish best juniors they quickly established a new level of performance. Matthew opened his own academy in 2013 MTGA and to date Matthew has helped many players to scholarships in the USA and students to date have won over 50 National and International tittles. Matthew is one of the only worldwide Instructors to be K-Vest Level 3 certified as well as TrackMan Level 2 Certified and Poland representative for AimPoint. Matthew works with players all over the world from the USA, Europe and Asia.

Patryk Jabłoński

Patrick was born and grown in Wroclaw. He started playing golf in 2007. From beginning he was a member of Toya Golf and Country Club. Already after first year golf started be his passion. It was this passion that took Patryk to the Toya David Leadbetter Golf Academy to furthur improve his playing skills as well as his knowledge of the golf swing. After a number of years continuing his playing career Patryk was offered the opportunity to join the coaching team at the Matthew Tipper Golf Academy based at the prestigious Toya Golf and Country Club, Wroclaw.

It was here that Patryk learnt and assisted directly from Matthew where he watched and observed thousands of hours of coaching from Matthew with students and Elite players. After completing a very detailed training work book Patryk quickly became a popular figure in the academy with his students and after 6 months attained his qualification to coach as an associate instructor at the Matthew Tipper Golf Academy.

12 months later Patryk successfully completed stage 2 of his training manual and is now a Certified Instructor of the Matthew Tipper Golf Academy. Patryk is currently going through the PGA Polska to gain his PGA Qualification. Patryk is qualified to use all the latest equipment available in the academy from Trackman, K-Vest 3D, Sam Balance lab and V1 analysis.

Jan Szmidt Jr

Jan Szmidt Jr

Jan started playing golf at the age of 5 quickly developed a strong passion and talent for the game. Working on his game constantly since then Jan quickly established himself as one of Polands best young players. Gaining a single digit handicap by the time he was 13, Jan then established himself into the national Polish junior team where he has remained to this day. Travelling internationally representing his home club Toya as well as Poland, Jan continued to gain International experience and success. Jan has played in the some of the biggest events in world amateur golf and has seen success by winning the European Young masters Strokeplay and the Faldo series. He capped of his final year in junior golf by becoming the Polish Junior Amateur Champion and has added the Polish Mens Matchplay to a list of his national titles. Jan will continue to represent Toya and Poland worldwide this year by embarking on a full Mens Amateur season.

Adrian Meronk

Adrian Meronk

Adrian started playing golf at the young age of 7 and quickly established himself into one of Polish leading players. Adrian announced himself on the world stage at 17 years of age where he became the first Polish player to make the cut at the British Boys Championships. This was the beginning of an exceptional run of golf over the next few years which saw Adrian win every major National title and his first International title in becoming the WJGS (World Junior Golf Series) order of merit champion. His fine form brought him the attention of US colleges and after careful decision he decided to accept the offer to study at East Tennessee State University and become a member of the Mens golf team the ETSU Buccaneers. Adrian quickly established himself as the leading player on the team and his game moved to the next level. Competing regularly against the best college players in the USA Adrian has won multiple college tournaments and has been the MVP for ETSU the last 3 years as well as nominated as an All American. His rise in play has seen him move into the Top 50 amateur players in the WAGR rankings, finish 22 in the World Amateur Championships, leading medalist in the Amateur Championship, 2015 US Amateur and the first Polish person to be selected for the prestigious Palmer Cup the annual match between Europe and USA for University students where he was unbeaten..

Kuba Urbański

Kuba Urbański

He is 16 years old student of School Sport Championship in Wroclaw. Ususally he trains on the Toya Golf & Country Club Golf Course. Matthew Tipper and Patryk Jabłoński are his main trainer, Kuba is connected over 8 years with this golf course. His first steps he made with his father who explore the golf passion in himself, the break out and motivation for continuing further game were his first successes in Junior Tour. Over time he has began to train intensively and the golf has become his the biggest passion.
He gained Polish Championship to 12 year old and get to polish golf team. Last 2 years he achieved successes in a couple of important tournaments like Faldo Series in Austria, vice-championships in Lithuania and in 2015 he got Polish Championship to 18 years old. Nowadays he is preparing himself to upcoming tournaments in the USA, South Africa and some countries in Europe.

Kuba started playing 5 years ago and started with a 36 Handicap. Having trained with the Toya Golf academy for his entire golfing career he made steady progress through the years and gained valuable experience playing in club and national tournaments. Development takes time and patience and knowing this Kuba set out on a plan laid out by the academy to reach his goals. 2015 was his break out year where he competed highly in national events and reduced his handicap to 8. Kuba is now a member of the Polish National Team squad and this year will play a National and International schedule for the first time.

Kacper started playing 3 years ago and started with a 36 Handicap. Having trained with the academy for the last 2 years he made steady progress through the years and gained valuable experience playing in club and national tournaments. Development takes time and patience and likewise as Kuba, knowing this Kacper precisely set out on a plan laid out by the academy to reach his goals. 2015 is meaningful year where he competed on a good level in golf national events and reduced his handicap to 10. Kacper this year will play a national and International schedule for the first time to continue to build his experience.
